Hey, there, and welcome. Whether you got here via the QR code I was so geeked-out to include in my paraphernalia, or by a more traditional route, I’m glad you’re here. I’m Suzanne, and I’m a creative-type.
My educational and much of my experiential background is in psychology and counseling, and I’ve been beyond blessed to work with some of the most incredible students and college student affairs professionals in the world. Really. For the past 6 years, I’ve worked in Aviation Technology at Purdue University, first as an academic advisor, and more recently in a communications, marketing and recruiting role. In the past few years, I’ve launched a student ambassador program, helped begin a learning community for first-year aviation students (now entering it’s 4th year), and developed a slew of marketing materials and presentations. Some of my print and graphic projects are shown off here, and if you want to know more, I’m always willing to talk about the programs I’ve been a part of, and the successes we’ve had.
Some of the most powerful and rewarding experiences I’ve had have been those when I’ve created compelling visual images to tell a story – about a person, place, or anything. I’m enthusiastic, really outside any sort of box, expressive, and a few other things:
